Meeting point: Our guide will pick you up from the location you specify to start your journey to one of Greece’s most important archaeological sites.
Driving just an hour from the city of Athens, we will visit the famous Isthmus of Corinth, connecting the Saronic Gulf with the Corinthian Gulf. From there, we will head to Ancient Corinth, where we will visit the Temple of Apollo and the Archaeological Museum. Then, we will begin our journey to the ancient city of Mycenae, where you will see the Tomb of Agamemnon, the Cyclopean Walls, the Lions’ Gate, and the Archaeological Museum.
Next, we will proceed to Nafplion, the first capital of the modern Greek state. Dominating the city is the Venetian fortress and the Bourtzi Castle built on a small island. In Nafplion, we can stop for a meal at a Greek restaurant with traditional dishes before continuing to our last stop, Epidaurus.
There, you will have a unique opportunity to visit the ancient theater with exceptional acoustics and the surrounding archaeological site. We return to Athens late in the afternoon, where the driver will drop you off at the pickup point or any other location you desire.
