Break the drive with a short stop at the Isthmus of Corinth, where the canal separates mainland Greece from the Peloponnese.

Palamidi Castle
Visit the Venetian fortress above Nafplion for views across the town, coastline and sea. Castle admission is separate from the private transport.

Nafplion old town
Walk through the streets of Greece’s first modern capital, explore the waterfront and leave time for a taverna lunch or ice cream before the drive back to Athens.
